Sr. Technical Program Manager, Incident Prevention Analytics

Job ID: 2866217 | Amazon Development Centre Ireland Limited

DESCRIPTION

Amazon’s Incident Prevention Analytics team (IPA) in Dublin is looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager to drive programs improving Amazon's service reliability.

As a Sr. Technical Program Manager you will be responsible for scoping and delivering large programs end-to-end. Your responsibilities will include program definition via collection of business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications, driving program schedules from design to release, and managing the launch and roll out. You will lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between internal teams and outside vendors to develop optimal solutions.

You will be expected to make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote program teams. You will be expected to deliver initiatives that benefit all of Amazon while leveraging the latest technologies in AWS, big data and machine learning. If you love shipping critical high-performance products focused on reliability, monitoring, networking, data processing and security, and have passion for operational excellence, we have the right job for you.
