We are seeking an experienced PM with deep expertise in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CFT (Countering the Financing of Terrorism) risk management to join our dynamic Regulatory and Exploratory Transaction Trust (RETT) Global Process Owner (GPO) team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to global compliance initiatives, working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and mitigate AML and CFT risks across our operations.

• Process Optimization & Rationalization:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams of subject matter experts in compliance, operations, and technology to streamline and optimize global compliance processes, specifically focused on suspicious activity monitoring, and reporting.
• Content Review & Policy Alignment:
Lead the annual review and updates of compliance content and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date, effective, and aligned with current regulatory standards and internal policy objectives.
• Change Management & Readiness:
Drive operational readiness and change management for new business, technology, and compliance initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
• Risk Management Expertise:
Serve as a key SME in AML and CFT risk management, partnering with compliance program managers, Compliance Office, operations, and legal teams to proactively identify and mitigate emerging risks across the business.
• Efficiency & Automation Initiatives:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased operational efficiency, driving automation initiatives across compliance, operations, technology, and analytics teams.
• Compliance Culture:
Promote and reinforce a culture of compliance throughout the organization, actively engaging with teams on-site to ensure high-quality investigations and adherence to compliance best practices.
Preferred: Prior experience in compliance functions e.g., Transaction Trust, SAM or other risk and compliance teams.
About the team
We as Global Process Owner (GPO) team, lead operational process excellence and expansion initiatives for the SAM and Transaction Trust programs. We collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including operations, business, legal, compliance, and engineering teams, to design, implement, and monitor the SAM and TT processes and policies, ensuring they are compliant, efficient, and scalable.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
