Business Analyst, NASC ACES, ACES Analytics and Strategy

NASC ACES is looking for a talented Business Analyst who will own analytics, reporting frameworks, and data visualizations from ground zero. Development of analytics will directly impact leadership decision making and optimization for driving risk mitigation improvements. As a member of this team, you will have an opportunity to be a thought leader in Amazon Sort Centers and work with a group of talented Program Managers, Operations teams, and business leaders to design the Amazon network of the future. We are focused on your success and want to build strong leaders within Amazon Transportation Services. You can expect to leverage your analytical skills and have full ownership of the projects you manage.
Key job responsibilities
- Perform complex data analysis to identify opportunities to reduce fulfillment costs as well as improve efficiencies and customer experience
- Design, develop and establish KPIs to monitor analysis and provide strategic insights to drive growth and performance
- Ability to perform/own reoccurring and ad-hoc business intelligence projects
- Develop standardized metrics to evaluate and benchmark pertaining to short and long term network planning and forecasting
- Communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL or ETL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
