Do you want to be a key part of a team focused on increasing the reach of cloud computing across the healthcare provider market? Within AWS Public Sector, Non-Profit Healthcare is a rapidly growing, mission-driven business that is obsessed about serving our health system customers. We are seeking a proven business executive in the NP healthcare sector to lead and continue to expand the business with some of our most important healthcare customers and develop new customers across a targeted greenfield market . The Account Executive (AE) will be a key member of the team responsible for providing business leadership and creative direction and will work to drive adoption of the most cutting-edge and transformational capabilities enabled by the world’s best-in-class technologies for some our most important healthcare customers. You will develop and execute on account plan strategy to establish deep relationships with customers from the C-suite to Board Directors; serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader with our customers; create, develop, and manage opportunities; establish executive business reviews with senior customer and AWS NP Healthcare leadership; and influence a large team of extended resources to shape go-to-market opportunities.

The Account Executive (AE) will be a key member of the team responsible for providing business leadership and creative direction and will work to drive adoption of the most cutting-edge and transformational capabilities enabled by the world’s best-in-class technologies for some our most important healthcare customers. You will develop and execute on account plan strategy to establish deep relationships with customers from the C-suite to Board Directors; serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader with our customers; create, develop, and manage opportunities; establish executive business reviews with senior customer and AWS NP Healthcare leadership; and influence a large team of extended resources to shape go-to-market opportunities.
The successful candidate has a desire to innovate, collaborate and invent with customers in the construct of a strategic relationship. This will require knowledge of cloud, a strong background in working closely with C-level executives, and a track record of achieving large, complex, multi-year deals and measurably successful outcomes. Demonstrated ability to earn trust with, and influence, CEOs and Boards of Directors with their company’s largest accounts.
S/he will develop trusted relationships with other C-suite executives, such as the Chief Information Officer, Chief Digital Officer, Chief Clinical Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, and other CXO roles.

About the team
The AE will articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services, accelerate customer adoption, maintain a robust cadence for engagements that are valuable to our customers, work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption, manage contract negotiations, position the accounts for optimal customer value and AWS revenue growth, and ensure high customer satisfaction. S/he will also work with other specialists and technical teams to shape the business case and technical development of AWS solutions to serve and enable our healthcare provider customers. Execute on a strategy to develop new customers across targeted greenfield accounts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of healthcare domain knowledge, especially with respect to health systems and including trusted relationships at health system CxO levels.
- 5+ years of experience leading business development and direct sales activities including presenting to all levels of technical and non-technical leadership internally and for external organizations
- 3+ years of Business development or consulting background and/or direct experience working within healthcare industry customers, especially health systems and other providers at the CxO/VP level (particularly in clinical, financial, operational leadership) – engaging, advising, and creating value for customers
- Bachelor’s degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree in medicine, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or measurement science
- Leadership skills are key, with exemplary verbal and written communications skills and proven ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations, and lead through influence.
- CxO relationships (particularly in clinical, financial, operational leadership) and large network in the healthcare provider industry, especially health systems.
- Strong knowledge base of healthcare industry trends and innovative technology services to support industry transformation, such as advanced analytics, machine learning and data science.
- Analytical and data-driven, and ability to demonstrate balanced strategy and planning, and execution skills.
- Solid understanding of legacy and emerging technologies in the healthcare industry
- Previous experience with AWS products and services.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
