HR Partner, EU ATS
DESCRIPTION
The EU ATS HR Partner team is a one year old organization centralizing HR support for about 3000 (and growing!) L3+ operations and corporate employees in Europe. A key area of focus for the HR Partner is to increase manager capability, enabling them to be more self-sufficient, and driving manager education on important people programs.
Thanks to their visibility across businesses and their access to data on managers’ and employees’ requests, HRPs are in a position to be a proactive partner to the business, spotting trends and identifying emerging needs; addressing them with innovative people programs, tools and processes. HRPs also act as process design experts, to identify opportunities for improvement in people processes and systems, design solutions, and partner across HR functions to drive implementation and adoption.
Key job responsibilities
- Consult, coach, and develop managers at various levels through decision making with empathy and sound judgement,
- Identify training opportunities to further develop functional and leadership skills. This may involve facilitating development sessions, focused on building manager effectiveness and capability,
- Collaborate and action on performance management and employee relations issues,
- Exercise high-judgement, manage through ambiguity and serve as first point of escalation for employee concerns,
- Support employee queries and situations with discretion and expertise, navigating Amazon Policies and applying high judgement as necessary,
- Actively promote adoption of technology and self-service.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree
- Relevant Human Resources experience
- Strong communication, coaching and consulting skills
- Proven ability to act independently and with discretion, making high judgment decisions
- Proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and make the best use of available resources
- Strong HR acumen including strong problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record of accomplishments in a fast-paced, customer and employee-focused, international environment
- Project management and delivery capability with a proven track record of making an impact through data-driven recommendations.
