Key job responsibilities
- Develop network models and optimization solvers to enhance inbound strategy
- Perform creative analysis using incomplete data to address strategic business questions
- Transform abstract concepts into major investment recommendations
- Optimize global inventory flows to maximize reliability, speed, and cost-effectiveness
- Communicate strategic recommendations to executive-level sponsors
A day in the life
You'll collaborate with diverse stakeholders across multiple time zones, diving deep into data and analytics to solve complex supply chain challenges. Your day might involve refining network models, analyzing global logistics data, or preparing compelling presentations for executive leadership. You'll balance strategic thinking with practical implementation, always keeping the customer experience at the forefront of your decisions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- 5+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience with SQL and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, or Matlab)
- Proven experience in an e-commerce distribution environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Advanced analytical skills and business judgment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience with Python

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
