Administrative Assistant, Amazon Payments
DESCRIPTION
The Worldwide Amazon Stores organization is looking for an Administrative Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization.
We are seeking an exceptionally talented, dependable, customer-obsessed, and self-motivated Administrative Assistant to work under the direct supervision of the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of the Amazon Payments team. Key job responsibilities
• Plan logistics for meetings and events of various sizes.
• Complete and file expense reports.
• Create and maintain team organization charts.
• Assist with space planning.
• Provide back-up calendaring support.
• Collaborate closely with departmental Executive Assistant (EA) peers.
• Special projects as assigned.
• Suggest process improvements to make the team more effective.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of professional or military experience
- 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- High school or equivalent
- Are 18 years of age or older
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Superior attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to design and improve processes
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time
- High level of integrity and discretion

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $42,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $79,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
