DESCRIPTION

The Creators organization is hiring a Front End Engineer II. In this role, you will build mobile-first websites and applications for Creator Marketing's newest, and most innovative products. Our organization owns the Amazon Associates and Influencer programs. Our mission is to become the Earth’s most desired destination for commerce creators across the world. We enable hundreds of thousands of creators to be successful at Amazon by surfacing personalized insights, recommendations and high quality educational content regardless of whether they are large publishers, individuals, new to our program or highly sophisticated affiliate marketers.

You and your team will be responsible for interfaces and services that can be deployed globally, delivering an exceptional customer experience.

As a front end engineer in our team you will have flexibility to drive changes to our front-end architecture, framework and work closely with product managers and UX designers.

Successful candidates need to be creative, innovative, flexible, self-directed, able to design and write reliable, maintainable and high-performance code. You must be able to deal with ambiguity, make data-driven decisions, multi-task and deal with complexity. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
