Then you may be interested in joining our Amazon Web Services (AWS) Media & Entertainment, Games, and Sports Specialist Business Development team to help drive technology adoption and transformation with customers around the world.

The AWS Industries team is committed to helping industry customers enable their digital transformation journeys. Our primary goal is to meet customers where they are in their cloud journey and work backwards from their industry specific needs to transform their business and their entire industry. Our team speaks the language of our industry customers, which means that we focus on business outcomes and industry use cases on behalf of our customers, whether that is how we build products and solutions, how we sell, how we deliver, or how we partner.


Key job responsibilities
• Partnering with Account Management teams to drive incremental sales pipeline and revenue growth from Media & Entertainment workloads
• Working with customers and AWS partners to identify and lead proof of concept engagements and develop new and innovative solutions
• Partnering with AWS Solutions Architecture resources in design, Proof of Concept (POC), pricing, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and delivery activities
• Collaborating with AWS Professional Services or ISV/SI Partners to implement solutions and packaged offerings
• Conducting executive workshops with industry leaders
• Participating in and representing AWS in key Media & Entertainment industry associations and events

A day in the life
Work with account managers, solutions architects, professional services and partners to identify and develop new opportunities to deploy Media & Entertainment workloads with our customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 7+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
- 10+ years experience working in or selling to the Media & Entertainment industry
