Sr. Program Manager, US Tax Planning & Restructures

This role requires flexibility, resourcefulness, ability to work on multiple projects, and an innovative spirit. The ideal candidate has a high attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has experience drafting and reviewing legal transaction documents. Projects include US and international new entity formations, US to US mergers and liquidations, and liaising with external counsel and internal business and legal partners.

The person's responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing transaction legal documentation and liaising with external and internal legal counsel.
About the team
US Tax Planning & Restructures develops and advises Amazon on various types of transactions throughout all Amazon business lines.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Legal project management experience (e.g., paralegal) and experience drafting and reviewing transaction documents

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
