Head of Lifecycle Marketing, Project Kuiper

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
Project Kuiper is seeking a talented, self-directed marketing leader to build and execute our global lifecycle marketing program. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast-growing business, working cross-functionally with colleagues across the world to increase value for customers and the business. Reporting directly to the Global Head of B2C Marketing, you will work autonomously to develop a strategic plan encompassing all marketing communications to existing customers, including onboarding, engagement, retention, loyalty, referral and winback activities. You will end-to-end own your program, delivering in a highly ambiguous environment, guided by global strategy and leadership feedback as you regularly report on your plans and results up to VP level.
The ideal candidate for this role has the experience and ability to develop large, complex, international lifecycle marketing strategies and execute at scale through managing and influencing internal and external resources and stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Define the global Lifecycle Marketing strategy for Project Kuiper. Deliver cross-functional, full lifecycle marketing plans designed to meet business targets for each country where we operate.
- Build, facilitate, manage and influence internal and external team resources and support to rapidly and consistently execute world-class lifecycle marketing programs at the highest standard.
- Collaborate with Marketing Intelligence teams to monitor business metrics and regularly report on performance up to VP level, adjusting strategically and tactically as needed.
- Deliver continuous improvement programs which consistently drive increased efficiency and effectiveness across a wide range of key metrics at country and region level.

A day in the life
This is a highly visible, high impact role on the Kuiper B2C Marketing team. You will be a key voice in global decision-making, while end-to-end owning the global B2C lifecycle marketing strategy for Kuiper. A typical day will involve strategic planning and decision-making, stakeholder management, execution through influencing close partner teams, and more. You will be expected to deliver autonomously and under the high degree of ambiguity which accompanies a fast-growing early-stage business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BSc in business, communications, telecommunications, marketing or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in B2C marketing.
- 3+ years experience in leadership role, including people management.
- Experience developing and executing marketing strategy for a new product or service.
- Experience building and executing customer marketing programs covering the full lifecycle including; onboarding, engagement, loyalty, retention, referral and winback.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree.
- Marketing experience at a technology company.
- Marketing experience at a telecommunications company.
- 10+ years of B2C Marketing experience, with 5+ in a leadership/people manager position.
- Experience running global or international marketing programs.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
