Senior Technical Program Manager, Timehub, Amazon Experience Technology
DESCRIPTION
Time and Attendance (TAA), is the Product and Technology arm of PXT that supports timekeeping, attendance, and ultimately pay for Amazon's millions of global employees. Timehub team, under TAA is responsible for building and enhancing critical tools/products supporting global workforce across Amazon sites. In particular, Timehub specializes in developing and maintaining systems and features that specifically address the time-related components that are eventually used to pay employees accurately. While working along the established roadmap, the team simultaneously pursues continuous innovation through developing Gen AI-based solutions aimed at enhancing Amazon workforce's experience, making it more seamless and efficient.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to lead our cross functional and cross domain initiatives within the Timehub team at Amazon. This role will be pivotal in driving innovation and implementing cutting-edge solutions to revolutionize our time management systems and processes. Successful candidates will have a technical background, be detail driven and have excellent problem-solving abilities.
Key job responsibilities
As Senior TPM in the Timehub space you will:
- Work closely with stakeholders, software engineers and product teams to deliver high quality and scalable products deployed around the world.
- Spearhead the strategy, development, and implementation of Amazon's own Time management solution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and user experience in time and attendance management.
- Lead complex, multi-faceted technical programs from conception to launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Drive the adoption of Time Solutions among HR professionals, Operations Managers, and Associates across global Amazon sites.
- Collaborate with the product teams to deliver the best product with most efficient use of resources and technologies.
- Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk taking behavior to maximize business benefit.
- Understand the micro-service architecture of Timehub products.
- Work with business and product teams to understand the business requirements and use cases.
- Work closely with Principal SDEs and Senior SDEs to define the end to end solution, drive prioritization and planning across domain teams, work with product managers and QA to validate the solution, and launch the solution to end customers.
- Drive the projects through its life cycle till successful deployment in pilot and later expansion across full region.
- Manage stakeholder and leadership communication and provide updates for MBR, QBR, and other leadership updates.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
