We're looking for a Senior Program Manager who is ready to work in a rapidly changing industry and will help us develop products and innovate on behalf of the customer. As Sr PM, you will engage with a cross-disciplinary team and ring-fenced tech team to conceive, design, and develop innovative automotive discovery & shopping experiences for our customers.


Key job responsibilities
As a Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in helping our customers and partners, shaping our product strategy and driving customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Synthesizing customer feedback and working with product managers to translate them into a compelling product roadmap
• Identifying and resolving critical issues that impact product performance and user experience
• Developing and implementing new policies, features, and products to address immediate customer needs
• Managing projects ranging from low to high complexity, ensuring successful delivery and implementation
• Maintaining clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders affected by program changes

The ideal candidate will:
• Have extensive experience in program management, working with product and tech teams.
• Demonstrate flexibility in adapting approaches to meet the diverse needs of customers, business units, and program stakeholders
• Excel at identifying, prioritizing, and solving complex problems, acquiring new expertise as needed
• Possess strong analytical skills to assess risks, drive clarity, and foster shared understanding among team members
• Create appropriate urgency for timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards
• Develop, optimize, and champion critical mechanisms to ensure long-term success of implemented changes

This role requires a dynamic individual who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, driving projects from conception to successful implementation.

A day in the life
In this role you will be solving customer issues and helping to develop the product vision for a brand-new set of customer experiences on Amazon.
This role is inherently cross-functional - You will work closely with engineering, product management, design, operations, finance, legal, and business development to bring new products to our customers.
You will be expected to create certainty out of ambiguity while having a firm grasp over the operational, and financial aspects of your programs.

About the team
We are a newly formed team with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection.
We’re collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for cars online.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of team management experience
- 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
