We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our Kuiper Mobile App team. As a member of our team, you will work on developing our Native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) applications. You will lead discussions with dependencies across Kuiper and collaborate cross-functionally with UX Designers and Product Managers to ensure we're building the best product for our customers.
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead designs and deliver features in collaboration with other engineers, product managers, and UX designers
- Drive process improvement and best practices for the team
- Mentor junior developers and lead workstreams with other engineers
- Actively work with partner teams to deliver end-to-end functionality
- Adapt quickly to evolving designs, requirements, and strategies in our fast-paced environment
A day in the life
Our team owns both the Native iOS and Android Stacks, giving our engineers the opportunity to develop and grow expertise in both. You'll work with other members of the team to iterate on the best way to deliver features and work closely with Product and UX to refine the product for our customers. Being a new to world app, you'll get to work with the latest technologies from Android and Apple and have significant influence over the direction of our software.
About the team
Our team owns the Kuiper Residential Mobile App for iOS and Android. The app will guide customers through first time device setup, help them to manager their service plan, and guide them through setting up, monitoring, and managing their home network. We are a highly collaborative team and empower each member of the team to voice their opinion and have an impact.
