Sr. Technical Program Manager, Reverse Logistics (RL) Engineering

The ideal candidate for the Sr. Technical Program Manager role will be a strong leader, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment. A deep understanding and background in test solution development, deployment, and qualification in a production environment with additional experience driving test requirements and best practices into HW/SW development organizations. The candidate will be highly organized and data driven. You will work closely with an internal inter-disciplinary teams, external partners, and operations to drive key aspects of product definition, execution, test and delivery. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
Key job responsibilities
· Lead internal and external engineering teams to deliver a solution that is robust and consistent
· Drive execution of projects with both internal and external engineering and operations teams
· Drive technical tradeoff discussions on product specifications and operational processes
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and operations partner(s) to record, drive and ensure resolution of all technical and process issues
· Influence cross functional teams across the organization to drive out program risk and eliminate technical and operational blockers
· Present project status to the leadership team
· Establish, implement and drive schedules and validation plans for engineering readiness
A day in the life
As the Technical Program Manager of the NPI test process within Reverse Logistics, on a daily basis, you will work with a broad cross-functional team responsible for launching some of our most complex products. Your day will likely begin with updates from the European and Asian stakeholders for product readiness, launch, and any sustaining critical issues. Then you will focus on managing priorities across all Amazon, Ring, Blink, and other product lines. Using your knowledge of service and repair test processes, you will drive requirements for changes to product design if applicable. To end your day you will work with product management, factory, and HW/SW engineering teams to scope new technology and innovation required for the new product launches.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Experience working as an Operations or Engineering Program Manager with a test engineering background

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
