Sr. Strategic Supply Chain Manager, Amazon
DESCRIPTION
The Amazon US Consumer Electronics organization is looking for a Sr. Strategic Supply Chain Manager. Candidates should possess a proven record of driving operational process improvements and thought leadership in inventory planning and operations.
The Sr. Strategic Supply Chain Manager will have end-to-end business ownership of all supply chain processes from manufacturer to customer. They will be responsible for establishing and driving inventory management strategies to maximize customer experience, while optimizing sales, margin and turns. They will use data to influence key decisions and business partners, as well as build sustainable and scalable systems & processes. The instock manager will play a critical role in delivering optimal customer experience by ensuring Amazon has the right product quantities, in the right places, and at the right time. To achieve this mission, they will work to continuously optimize the end-to-end supply chain by partnering with the vendor management team and, at times, working directly with vendors to improve instock metrics. The Sr. Strategic Supply Chain Manager will work cross-functionally across the consumer electronics org and with Amazon central teams to drive system and process automations that are sustainable and scalable.
The successful candidate is a highly organized self-starter, an effective team player, a critical thinker who has sound business judgement, and someone who possesses strong data extraction and analytical capabilities. They are able to self-manage competing priorities and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong candidates will have knowledge in fundamental business principles and previous relevant experience. The ideal candidate is able to lead and influence both internal and external teams in an ambiguous environment while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of with Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience working with complex data sets
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
- Experience with SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
