Technical Program Manager, Identity, Music Growth and Marketing

Our team is focused on building a personalized, curated, and seamless music experience. We want to help our customers discover up-and-coming artists, while also having access to their favorite established musicians. We build systems that are distributed on a large scale, spanning our music apps, web player, and voice-forward audio engagement on mobile and Amazon Echo devices, powered by Alexa to support our customer base. Key job responsibilities
As a Technical Program Manager for the Identity organization at Amazon Music, you'll ensure our identity management systems adhere to regulations and industry standards. You'll maintain the integrity, security, and compliance of user authentication, authorization, and data protection within our audio streaming service. In this role, you'll lead a critical strategic initiative, spearheading a large scale mechanism to drive awareness, advocacy and implementation of legislation, regulation and standard development within compliance industry. We are looking for someone who brings a unique combination of depth understanding and experience in applying technical standards in Audio streaming service. Have a strong grasp of regulatory affairs and can effectively program manage the execution of new rules and regulation. Your technical expertise in compliance engineering, combined with your strong program management skills, will ensure our products meet evolving regulatory landscapes.
A day in the life
* Develop and implement identity compliance strategies, translating regulations into technical specifications
* Lead compliance-focused projects within the Identity organization, coordinating with engineering teams
* Collaborate with legal, privacy, security, and product teams to ensure comprehensive compliance
* Oversee implementation of compliance requirements in user authentication and authorization systems
* Conduct audits, prepare reports, and maintain documentation for identity-related compliance processes
* Identify compliance risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor control effectiveness

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Proven track record in Technical program management, preferably in compliance-related projects. Strong understanding of identity , authentication protocols and data protection regulations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in system design
- Experience in software development
- Experience working directly with engineering teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
