Technical Program Manager Intern

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) Intern works closely with teams located in both the US and China throughout the design cycle. As a member of the TPM team, you will assist the driving of cross-functional communication within region. You will assist in closely monitoring and driving China side main activities including SW development, process improvement, and production launch.
Key job responsibilities
• Managing, analyzing and reporting compliance of team members for process adherence, tool utilization and data accuracy. You will be responsible for cross-team/Vendor communication as well as create status reports, trend risk analysis and governance policies.
• Developing governance and compliance processes across multiple teams in line with the organization needs.
• Reporting business risks to senior leadership through trend analysis
• Understand the processes to define, design, and deliver business technical solutions based on a variety of Time and Attendance systems and applications.
• Collaborate with technical and design teams to define and design the product with the best customer experience.
• Support and enhance existing products with thoughtful and measurable impact.
• 5% travel in China region.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Mandarin
- • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or above degree program in CS, EE, Math or Business Administration.
- • Candidates must be in their pre-final year of Bachelor or Master Course
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Are enrolled in a Master's degree or above
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Results-driven focus with analytical capability
- Ability to innovate and simplify current processes and practices
- High affinity towards data and technology with ability to dive deep and analyze opportunities and processes
- Knowledge of Embedded system or SaaS technologies.
- Knowledge of software engineering, Agile Development.
- Familiar with project management software like: Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, MS project.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking capability
- Self-motivated, proactive and passionate
- Past experience or coursework in project management
- Previous internship experience
