Analytics & Insights Professional, Amazon Advertising

Amazon Ads operates at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising, offering a rich array of advertising solutions. We partner with advertisers to reach Amazon customers on Amazon, across our other owned and operated sites like Prime Video and Twitch, and on other high-quality sites across the web, and on devices.
We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Analytics and Insight Professional (AIP) to help scale our growing advertising business in Brazil.
The AIP is a key member of the Customer Success Team at Amazon Ads, taking a consultative approach, building deep relationships with advertisers, sales, account management, retail, and other Amazon business partners to analyze and measure the success of advertisers' performance on Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
* Leverage Amazon's proprietary data and tools, as well as third-party research solutions, to generate insights.
* Present findings and insights in a consultative approach to the client and collaborate with the relevant internal teams in order to provide a complete solution.
* Collaborate cross-functionally, communicate effectively across multiple business functions and geographies, and influence marketing initiatives.
* Demonstrate deep analytical ability and develop expertise in Amazon's proprietary metrics, constantly evolving how we analyze and communicate data-driven insights to our advertisers.
* Demonstrate a passion for learning new skills and adopting new methodologies and tools.
A day in the life
On a daily basis, AIP activities include analyzing and measuring metrics of success for an advertiser business or category, developing data-driven insights and recommendations for executive client leadership, and communicating recommendations in a clear and compelling fashion. The strategic and consultative digital expertise of an AIP is critical to delivering the best return on investment for our customers.
About the team
The Analytics & Insights (A&I) organization develops actionable insights using Amazon's unique data to influence how advertisers promote their businesses. Our insights and measurement solutions enhance their marketing decision-making, leading to them being measurably more successful with Amazon.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years’ experience in client-facing data analysis roles.
- 3+ years of experience in a consulting role in the digital media, or 3+ years of advertising experience (agency or client-side).
- Proficiency in SQL, ability to write queries from scratch, create appropriate joins, extract and manipulate data.
- Fluency with analytical tools (Python, R, SAS), ability to modify existing code to run new analysis.
- Have a good understanding of statistical methodologies, linear regression analysis, multivariate regression analysis, and model building.
- Ability to translate complex technical analysis into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA, Master’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Advertising, or Business/Digital media planning experience.
- Excellent data driven storytelling skills – you create and present compelling presentations and complex analysis in a simple, easy to digest way, with outstanding visuals.
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a complex work environment, focusing on high-value activities.
- Demonstrated expertise in advertising measurement methodologies, experimentation, marketing mix modeling, and consumer insights research.
- Complete understanding of the end-to-end process of marketing campaign execution and optimization.
