Principal Product Manager - Tech, Disability and Leave Services (DLS)
DESCRIPTION
Taking time away from work for significant life events, such as the birth or adoption of a child, a serious illness, or the loss of a loved one, as well as needing accommodations/adjustments to when, how, and where they work to have an equitable experience is a critical need for our employees. Our vision is to make Amazon more accessible for people with disabilities globally every day, and deliver a 100% frustration free experience to Amazonians who need a leave or accommodation.
Amazon’s Disability and Leave Services (DLS) team within the People Experience & Technology (PXT) organization is building best-in-class 1P solutions to deliver a delightful experience for Amazonians. We are building mobile and web experiences integrated with internal and external systems, so employees don’t have to go through hoops to get what they want. No employer has ever done this level of experience or personalization before, and we are breaking new ground.
The Principal Product Manager – Tech (PPMT), is a strategic technical product leader who owns the three-year vision, roadmap, and delivery for our primitive products to support delivering a seamless end to end experience for Amazonians. Amazon is excited about replacing legacy 3P systems with innovative and scalable 1P systems built as primitives. The PPMT will build upon this transformation to drive the strategy to build an integrated end-to-end experience for all Amazonians, Applicants, and Candidates – from initiating a request to getting what they need, whether that is a leave or accommodation. At Amazon, Accommodation and Leave Management encompasses a suite of technically complex products that are responsible for the end to end lifecycle of an employee’s request. These products include the case management platform as well as other upstream and downstream 1P systems that enable self-service, pro-active and reactive communication and engagement, delivering with speed for our customers while automating repetitive tasks to optimize cost for Amazon. DLS has embraced Gen AI to move faster in delivering superior experiences for our customers and is a great place to continue to learn and grow at Amazon.
