Quality, Technology, and Strategy (QTS) is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to build digital systems for Global Robotics Delivery. QTS supports Amazon’s largest manufacturing operation, a $2+ billion supply chain, and engineering/R&D/science for the largest fleet of industrial robots in the world. As Enterprise Architect, you will help lead a digital transformation across Amazon Robotics as we scale our product mix and volumes to keep pace with Amazon fulfillment. You will provide strategic direction and governance for the overall enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with Amazon Robotics' business goals and IT strategies. You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to develop a comprehensive technology roadmap that sets the future direction for business capabilities and the IT systems that will support them. You will bring proven experience leading global technology strategies with enterprise companies, defining strategic technology initiatives, and connecting multiple solutions for a holistic customer vision.
You are a proven expert and thought-leader in complex business-IT transformations including platform modernization, enterprise systems, digital transformation, cloud deployment and migrations, transformational outsourcing, governance, software development, and enterprise architecture.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 12+ years’ experience in enterprise architecture, covering all TOGAF domains.
* 5+ years in a technical leadership role e.g. CTO, Head of Technology, Engineering/Technology Director, General Manager, Principal Solutions Architect, Lead Architect/Engineer, etc.
* 10+ years of business processes enabled by SAP and/or other applications and experience in implementing solutions or selling solutions with ERP.
* 5+ years experience in Enterprise Architecture at a scaled engineering and manufacturing company (design to operate pipeline).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Track record of successful digital transformation initiatives within a large enterprise environment.
* Visible IT Industry thought leadership on relevant topics related to enterprise IT infrastructure and adoption.
* Deep expertise in leveraging cloud computing, architecture, and digital transformation to drive business impact.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders through writing.
* 5+ years experience leading complex, multi-work stream initiatives and coordinating cross-functional teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $164,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $284,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
