Are you interested in helping Amazon ensure that customers make great purchase decisions and enable the world's most recognized Brands using Amazon to have the best experience listing and selling their products? The Automated Brand Protection team designs and builds high performance software systems using machine learning that identify and prevent abuse on behalf of brand owners worldwide. We are looking for a Program Manager to join the Amazon Brand Protection (ABP) team to help us to continue to scale across our stores Worldwide.

This is a global role that might include interaction with brands, operational teams and stakeholders in countries outside of the United States, requiring an ability to communicate effectively and understand the different needs of global customers. You should have experience leading key initiatives, from conception to launch in a rapidly evolving environment. As a program manager, you will be adding critical value by helping our organization operate at scale.

Key areas of ownership include:
> Driving continuous improvement in the ABP process to support global away team feature requests in post-purchase products, globally.
> Build new mechanisms to enable coordination and scale for ABP to support new marketplace launches and cross-team initiatives
> Build new program mechanisms to manage cross-Amazon rapid experimentation in the brand protection space.
> Identify operational gaps, build new processes with stakeholders, create a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) from the processes, and obtain approvals for the SOP for products and new business models
> Take a bird’s eye view “Big Picture”, overseeing and ensuring integration between the specific Process and other processes
> Ensure proper Key Performance Indicators are set and measured to determine the impact of process changes
> Write clear and detailed SOPs and functional requirements


Key job responsibilities
• Drive end-to-end high impact and high visibility programs that impact pricing and thereby customer experience on Amazon
• Collaborate with Tech, Product, Operations and Category teams to ensure timely deliverables for key projects
• Analyze data and dive deep into processes to derive business critical insights for enhancing systems
• Write compelling business documents and drive outcomes for Senior Leadership at Amazon
• Build a data oriented culture, adopt technical solutions and drive process improvement projects to achieve operational and business goals.

A day in the life
As a Program Manager, you will be working on high impact, high visibility programs that directly impacts our customers. You will be required to ideate, analyze data, generate insights, develop proof of concepts, write compelling business case and gain agreement from Leaders across levels & functions, implement the solution. You will be required to collaborate with leaders from Tech, Operations, Business, Finance, Legal teams to drive the programs from ideation to implementation effectively.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
