The Senior Program Manager for DSP Capacity Planning will be a key leader in the long-term capacity strategy and planning for the DSP Program, owning the most extensive and intricate regions. This role emphasizes the need to create alignment among various teams and partners. The program manager will design scalable programs that foster growth for our top delivery partners while ensuring capacity availability during high-demand events. By working closely with multiple partner teams, both upstream and downstream, the program manager will establish a cohesive approach to achieve shared objectives.

Amazon scales fast, and we strongly rely on data and mechanisms to support this growth. The Sr Program Manager will be responsible for constantly evolving strong forecasting and analytical models that can reliably predict long range capacity needs in a high growth environment. Beyond high growth, the business is also subject to rapid changes due to internal and extraneous factors. You will navigate long range planning through this change, by developing proactive strategies that are future compatible, and nimble enough to react to changes quickly.



Key job responsibilities
- Build scalable and data driven long range DSP capacity plans.
- Build and manage processes to incorporate planning inputs in a seamless and scalable manner.
- Build partnerships with upstream planning functions to measure, control and respond to planning variations.
- Work cross-functionally with field operations and functional leaders to drive influence in capacity planning and management.
- Drive leadership business reviews on long term capacity strategy.
This role is based out of Bellevue, WA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
