Who we are: We are part of the Core Shopping organization, which is responsible for many of the core shopping experiences customers interact with on Amazon today. Our team is focused on building novel ways for customers to find and discover new products. What you will do: We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager – Technical, to own the vision, development, launch, and continuous improvement for a new shopping experience. You will work with talented scientists, engineers, UX designers, program managers, and product managers to innovate on behalf of our customers. The right person has deep technical knowledge, high levels of customer obsession, is comfortable with a high-level of ambiguity. The ideal candidate has demonstrated a strong ability to build repeatable and scalable processes, and is an independent operator skilled at aligning resources and working cross-team to deliver on behalf of our customers. You will build experiences across surfaces (desktop, mobile app, voice, etc.).

What you will learn: You should already be an excellent communicator, written and verbal, but we will make you an even better one. You will also develop expertise in cutting edge science and technology across the ecommerce industry.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
