Amazon.com is looking for a smart, enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative candidate to join the Selling Partner Experience - Operations team as a Catalog Specialist. This position offers an exciting introduction to the Amazon Marketplace and provides a training ground for success. You will primarily be responsible for driving increased data quality and solving challenging operational business goals. You will utilize data and develop creative processes to improve your team’s performance. You will directly work with Product Management and Tech teams to develop scalable, long-term solutions which will have a significant impact on teams related to Selling Partner Experience. Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is a self-starter, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams, partners and management. The candidate should have a track record of delivering results, experience processing large amount of data and report generation & management. The candidate should use data to drive their communication with stakeholders. The candidate should be able to resolve process issues with limited guidance.

Key job responsibilities
• Complete a variety of insight generation tasks to support the Listing management processes for listing tools and services, satisfying pre-defined SLAs.
• Work with individuals internally across Amazon to procure necessary approvals, create and fulfill business requests.
• Apply business judgement to determine the severity and resolution path for independently identified issues.
• Proactively escalate areas for process improvement and automation.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, establishing standard operating procedures.
• Provide data-driven analytics and support to business partners in quantifying and resolving issues.
• Continuously evaluate tools and processes and offer solutions to ensure they are efficient, high quality, and scalable.

The team directly owns a variety of daily/weekly/monthly repeatable tasks which are expected to be completed according to specified SLAs. At the same time, the team brings significant experience in business operations, and offers variety of opportunities to learn various skillsets allowing to deliver process improvement and automation initiatives that have shown measurable gains in productivity.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or any other quantitative discipline)
- Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and passion for delivering great customer experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and logical reasoning skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Proficiency in VBA, macros and SQL.
- Professional experience in E-commerce or IT ES industries Experience with secondary research Experience working with large datasets.
