Sr Program Manager, Selection, Retail
DESCRIPTION
Amazon aims to offer the largest selection to our customers. Expanding selection is therefore a key element of providing the best customer experience to our customers. The Sr. Program Manager Selection leader is responsible for improving our performance in this area in Brazil, collaborating with international and central teams to drive insights as well as implementing cross-functional initiatives to drive performance. The role offers the opportunity to innovate and implement high impact projects with direct contribution to the business.
This role requires an strategic thinker who has exceptional data analytics skills, can solve tough business problems, and define innovative ways to use technology to tackle them at scale. You simultaneously dive deep into the tactical details and set a broad strategic vision for execution and scale. You are data quality obsessed and excel at distinguishing signal from noise and you create data-driven insight from a variety of sources. As a leader of this role you will have high leadership visibility and will own, manage and improve processes to increase our selection, and thus improving our customer experience by offering all the items our customers want.

Key job responsibilities
- Coordinate priorities and projects with central teams, external data providers, and business teams to identify and offer relevant selection to customers;
- Lead quarterly business reviews with senior leadership, presenting results, challenges and driving meaningful discussions to solve problems;
- Develop comprehensive mechanisms to drive and capture Retail actions on missing selection;
- Own the selection funnel, identifying scalable initiatives to efficiently move selection from listing to first sale;
- Work with Marketplace counterparts to create and implement the Stores level selection strategy to grow FT GV across the business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets
