We are seeking a dynamic and organized self-starter to join our team. You will work on creating products and implementation of programs from ground up while taking a customer backwards approach. This unique role will focus on solutions to unlock value propositions for our customers leveraging Japan Consumer Innovation and Supply Chain technology teams. This includes but is not limited to programs for improving selection and availability, inbound logistic and pre-empting the needs of Japanese customers to introduce other value added services while maintaining best in class customer experience. This is a Senior Role with a complex range of programs and projects active simultaneously. The role also carries a lot of ambiguity and you should be able to prioritize and deliver programs in a constraint environment.


Key job responsibilities
- Work backward from customer’s needs/pain points and translate them into business requirements
- Diving deep into internal and external data to understand Supply Chain gaps within Amazon
- Create and execute innovative and automated Supply Chain mechanisms and products that can scale locally and worldwide
- Work with tech teams and other internal stakeholders in Japan and around the world to develop new customer experiences for growing Japan Book business
- Develop and improve key metrics to improve the performance of our selection funnel
- Be accountable in internal business performance reviews with senior leaders to identify and deliver necessary improvements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of team management experience
- 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience relying on analytics and data to cultivate deep customer empathy, shape product decisions and track effectiveness of change
- Experience working with a cross-functional team across design, operations, and engineering team to meet high-reaching goals
