The Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Worldwide Solutions Engineering team is excited to welcome a Senior Solutions Engineer to our dynamic team, based in Bellevue, WA.

In this role, you will pioneer large-scale projects that are integral to our mission of delivering packages faster, safer, and more cost-effectively than ever before. Your role will directly influence our operational excellence. As a Senior Solutions Engineer you will have a unique opportunity to own innovation projects for AMZL that impact upstream networks, advancing the intelligence of our last mile business.
Key job responsibilities
- Oversee North America Process Engineering with a focus on the Final Mile.
- Lead and execute top-tier strategic projects in collaboration with Delivery Station operational leaders, promoting process stabilization and standardization network-wide.
- Act as the advisor for your team and broader network leaders within the Delivery Stations.
- Optimize facility and field engineering processes using lean methodologies.
- Take charge of large-scale, intricate engineering projects across North America.
- Guarantee customer satisfaction by promptly and accurately addressing requests.
- Steer sizeable North America Ops Engineering projects, often in ambiguous scenarios; work jointly with Planning, Launch, Procurement, Finance, HR, external partners, and product teams to ensure timely, budget-conscious project completion.
- Create innovation within the Engineering Organization.
- Liaise with Tech/Software teams to facilitate the operational implementation of software advancements.
- Travel regionally up to 10% as necessitated by business demands.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
- 7+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience
- Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
- Data analysis and statistical skills
- Intermediate experience with Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
- Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools
- Experience with SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
