DESCRIPTION

The AGI team is responsibly advancing Amazon’s generative AI technologies, including the company’s most expansive multimodal foundation models. AGI Autonomy works to augment human intelligence by creating real-world digital agents. We are hiring a Software Development Engineer to help build workflows and processes for agent capabilities to delight consumer and enterprise customers with practical AI solutions.

We are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented Software Engineers who have experience building innovative, mission critical, high volume applications that customers love. You will have an opportunity to make a large impact on the design, architecture, and implementation of cutting edge products used every day, by people you know.
- Responsible for development and maintenance of core modules and services.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against fast-paced schedules.
- Will work with scientists and software engineers to evaluate technical feasibility, investigate design approaches and prototype and develop new technology.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
