Amazon Pay’s mission is to provide Amazon customers a superior paying experience anywhere they shop. Our objective is to make Amazon Pay a ubiquitous payment option for customers. Amazon Pay is now available in 18 countries, allowing buyers to leverage Amazon’s trusted, convenient, and rewarding wallet for third party purchase experiences online.

This is a critical role to manage strategic partners for Amazon Pay as we scale to a 10x business and reach millions of stores over the next 5 years. We will achieve this through growth through integrating with payment service providers (PSP) and revamping our partnerships with Top 10 e-commerce solution providers (CSPs). The ideal candidate is a problem solver, effective cross functional leader thriving in a dynamic, evolving and fast faced environment.

The candidate will have opportunity to own and execute complex business problems end to-end having broader customer, business, or cross-organizational impact. The ideal candidate needs to possess acute business judgement, with a track record of strong project delivery, client management (financial and business) and relationship management along with deep analytical acumen.


Key job responsibilities
• Identify and evaluate cost benefit analysis of partnerships; Align cross functional teams for execution and delivery
• Identify most optimum features to invest in and own prioritization roadmap at partner’s end
• Program manage implementation of organization wide initiatives at partner’s end.
• Develop strategies and lead projects that drive significant business impact, ranging from strategic alternatives assessments to greenfield partner opportunities.
• Define the success criteria for Amazon Pay and partners including CX, commercial, terms and operations.
• Execute and launch the deals/contracts working cross functionally with legal, Corp BD, compliance, business and product teams
• Own and set up business review/KPI tracking/financial performance with partners

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals
- 6+ years experience managing external clients in payments/financial services- structuring, and executing contractual obligations and managing cross-functional groups(tech/product/BD/legal etc) to successfully launch and scale deals
- Experience in formulating strategies influencing leadership decisions internally/externally
- Experience managing cross functional group of stakeholders with accountability matrices
- Experience building internal and external processes to monitor and scale partnerships.
- Strong communication skills with preferred experience of dealing with executives externally

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working in a fast-moving consumer business
- Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
