DESCRIPTION

Within Amazon Delivery, the Hub Pickup and Return Points (PARP) and Hub Delivery Partner programs offer innovative and cost-effective delivery methods to delight customers globally. PARP operates a global network of lockers, counters, and 3P operated locations where customers can pick up packages at their convenience. Hub Delivery partners with small business owners to deliver packages to their local area to earn extra income for their business while solving delivery challenges for dense urban and very rural areas. This Senior Financial Analyst role will work across both these areas (approximately 50% on each) and partner with Finance peers supporting these programs to deliver scalable reporting solutions and process improvements needed to provide data driven insights and quality Finance processes as these businesses continue to scale.

The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with the finance and business teams to understand data and reporting needs and current processes and quickly build and deploy solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong data and analytical skills with finance and business acumen. The ideal candidate will also have a strong Learn and Be Curious mindset to gain new skills and explore best practices across Amazon.


Key job responsibilities
- Providing analytical support to the PARP and Hub Delivery businesses to report on key metrics and performance to plan and surface insights for action
- Improving worldwide and regional level reporting and scaling existing processes and tools across countries
- Owning recurring reporting mechanisms (e.g. dashboards, WBR, HC reporting)
- Automation projects, including use of SQL/Quicksight/Redshift and AI tools where applicable

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
