We're growing an engineering team to support the Twitch Ads business that powers the advertising experience for millions of viewers and streamers daily. We're looking for a passionate, team-oriented, and talented Principal Technical Program Manager with experience leading across technical and product teams to deliver experiences that customers love. This is a unique opportunity to get in early and drive significant portions of the technical roadmap.

Key job responsibilities
This role requires outstanding cross-team coordination and prioritization to translate critical product and business requirements into a technical roadmap and design. You should have familiarity with low-latency, highly scalable systems, as our technical architecture enables thousands of concurrent advertisers to design and deliver unique user experiences to millions of customers. You will succeed in these endeavors by combining your technical experience with your ability to listen to, learn from, and communicate with a diverse group of collaborators.

About the team
Twitch Ads is a critical Ads program that is pioneering new experiences to help brands (sellers, vendors, influencers) connect with viewers and streamers on Twitch. We build scaled and custom ad experiences across video, audio and display. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical program management experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- 10+ years Program Management experience in digital advertising, online services or related industry
- Bachelors degree
- Experience defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule and deploy new features sets
- Experience in analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection
- Experience in on-time and on-budget delivery of large complex software or hardware projects.
- Ability to operate and thrive with partial information and ambiguity
- Excellent time management, resource management and planning skills
- Ability to proactively identify upcoming risks, issues, and bottlenecks and resolve issues that sometimes cross departmental boundaries
- Ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written) with stakeholders”

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
