AWS Supply Chain Manager, ISCAP - Fixed
DESCRIPTION

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. In this role, you will:
- Perform forecasting, demand analysis, material/inventory management, and manage supply buffers
- Understand manufacturing processes to verify supply commitments and reduce cycle times
- Work with component suppliers and server manufacturers to analyze, reconcile allocation and monitor changes and cancellations
- Participate in requirements gathering
- Understand the supply chain network and work with various analytics and software development teams, driving automation
- Develop analytical tools and dashboards to track metrics, monitor SLAs, and report findings
- Produce written recommendations and insights to inform key stakeholders of supply chain health and help shape solution design

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or an advanced degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field.
- 3+ years of work experience in supply chain, planning, procurement, manufacturing or 4+ years with an advanced degree.
- 2+ years of experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, etc., experience in program, project, or product management, or leading an implementation of a product.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA or advanced degree in engineering, supply chain or other quantitative disciplines, 5+ years of relevant supply chain experience in data centers, an infrastructure service provider or similar technology company, global Supply Chain Experience
- Understanding of the implications of different operational choices to guide teams and leadership to best solutions for the organization
- Analytical skills with a high degree of proficiency in data mining, able to model supply chain strategies to define cost and performance impacts, trade-offs, and risks, and ability to think big and drive innovation throughout the supply chain; must be analytical and have a passion for diving deep
- Effectively communicate relevant information at all levels of the organization, and leadership and coaching skills, and experience creating an innovative global supply strategy for the organization resulting in a tangible benefit to the business
