FP&A Manager - INT Fresh Logistics Finance, Fresh Logistics Finance

This role is to be based in Luxembourg.
As a Finance Manager, you’ll give us the visibility we need to drive Amazon forward. Finance teams are a constant adviser to the business. This is a perfect position for someone who knows how to work fast and smart. The role is strategic, involving financial performance reporting to drive medium to long term cost improvements.
In this role you will partner with finance and business stakeholders in Amazon Fresh operations and retail to optimize our financial performance through succinct reporting and story telling insights. You will work with functional finance teams to prepare the yearly and quarterly forecasts (operational plans). And you will produce quantitative and qualitative analyses to underpin direction and achievement of strategic organizational goals.
Key Characteristics:
- Extensive experience evaluating, analyzing quickly and creating meaningful business reporting.
- Ability to develop strategic relationships with your finance and business partners – you influence the decisions.
- Capacity to root cause issues quickly and uncover core issues using data, then assist, consult with, and teach the teams how decisions affect efficiency, scalability, costs and create new mechanisms as they are needed.
- Capacity to deal with ambiguity & provide level-headed guidance during unexpected events.
- Capacity to learn new technology (reporting tools) with little guidance by using self-learning material, online resources, and learning by doing / experimenting.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or another relevant field
- Relevant experience in a finance role including partnering with a variety of stakeholders across the business
- Relevant experience in managing people
- Relevant experience working with Excel and large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as Python, SQL or Tableau
- Relevant experience in financial modelling
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced or master’s degree in finance, economics or mathematics, such as a CA, CMA, CWA or MBA
- Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
- Experience working in large teams or at a national/multinational organisation
- Experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influence decisions
