Digital Marketing Manager, Public Sector Marketing - US

DESCRIPTION

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a self-directed, entrepreneurial digital manager to join the US Field Team. Based in HQ2 in Arlington, Virginia, and situated within AWS’s global Public Sector department, our team serves public institutions in government, nonprofit, education, and other emerging segments, and fosters engagement across existing target accounts (ABM).

In this role, the marketer will shape digital marketing strategy, fully own execution, and design online experiences that accelerate movement through different stages of the funnel. You will define success metrics by working backward from department goals and deliver independently, with limited guidance. The marketer will architect, execute, and optimize integrated campaigns across, email, web, and paid/syndicated channels to support growth of the Public Sector business across our most mature market.

The marketer will support the digital team’s charter to build foundational digital marketing programs, drive optimization, and create long-term solutions in areas of mailable database growth and list segmentation.

This individual contributor role requires a strategic mindset and proven ability to deliver results. Comfort and experience with marketing automation is essential.

This role requires close collaboration across field, sales, and technical teams.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in multi-territory campaign management
- Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
