UX Designer, AWS Game Tech
DESCRIPTION
At AWS Game Tech, our vision is to lead the future of immersive experiences by providing the tools and technology for anyone to create, scale, and deliver rich, interactive content across industries.
We are looking for a UX Designer to create immersive, user-centered experiences for both gaming customers. In this role, you will design intuitive, scalable services that empower developers and studios to build engaging, cloud-connected experiences. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that simplify complex workflows, enabling content creators to focus on bringing joy to their players. Join us to help shape the future of game development through customer-focused design and innovative problem-solving at scale.
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

- Conduct in-depth user research (e.g., interviews, usability testing, analytics) to identify needs and pain points.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, stakeholders) to ensure designs align with business goals and technical feasibility.
- Present pragmatic, creative solutions to stakeholders and advocate for user needs across the organization.
- Apply the latest UX trends and best practices to solve design challenges and continuously improve products through user feedback and performance analysis.
- Communicate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
