SDE II, Salesforce Success Central, Security Enablement

Job ID: 2811504 | Amazon Web Services, Inc.

DESCRIPTION

Are you interested in building tools that drive cultural changes across AWS and Amazon? Do you love working with a diverse set of customers and engineers? Do you want to make new tools that make it easy for builders to secure third-party applications? Are you excited by solving problems that no other company has solved?

Salesforce Success Central (SFSC) delivers products and solutions that improve the return on investment in our enterprise-wide third-party platforms, deliver products that make running third-party platforms at Amazon scale easier, and improve overall governance and security. The Security Enablement Team, within SFSC, is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to build products that monitor third-party platforms and deliver user experiences that help service owners improve their operational maturity. You will own the design and delivery of tools and products we deliver to secure third-party platforms at Amazon. In 2025, we are embarking on an AI/ML journey to scale our team and automated the security assessment of third-party platforms. You will partner with software engineers, security engineers, and enterprise security to develop innovative technologies that engage Service Owners throughout Amazon. With a customer first approach to solving security challenges, we enable service owners to improve the maturity of their operations.

We have a team culture that encourages innovation where team members and management alike have a high degree of ownership for their vision and execution of ideas. Beyond a deep technical background and proven track record of building secure products, a successful candidate will have experience driving strategy and operations. We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, someone that approaches complex business questions with data and curiosity, and a person that dives below the surface to identify the root cause and "so what" rather than just superficial trends.

Key job responsibilities
• Deliver secure, innovative, scalable, and highly dependable software
• Think Big and bring the customer to the table
• Participate in small working groups across program, product, and security to solve the seemingly unsolvable.
• Push your design and architecture limits by owning all aspects of solutions end-to-end, through full stack software development
• Develop highly scalable, low latency, intelligent software that will have a massive impact for customers
