Multicultural Audiences Strategy Lead, Prime Video US Hub
DESCRIPTION
Prime Video (PV) brings together the world’s best creators with the most passionate communities in a way that no other entertainment brand can. Not only are we a one-stop hub for distinctive, critically-acclaimed and award-winning original programming including TV series such as The Boys, Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Jack Ryan and movies like Air, Saltburn, The Idea of You, and Road House, but we offer a multi-dimensional experience that allows subscribers to fully immerse themselves in their fandom: to read the book, to listen to the soundtrack, to buy the costume, to replay live sports in real time, and more. And that breadth and connection to the Amazon family of brands, along with the support of a passionate and diverse global team, makes Prime Video a company where creators and makers of all kinds can build their future.
US Prime Video (PV) is on a mission to be customers’ must-have video service and first-choice streamer. We achieve this aspiration by offering premium exclusive content and the broadest selection of movies and TV shows from any digital streamer, discovered with ease within an unparalleled personalized experience.
Key to driving Prime Video’s future growth is increasing engagement with multicultural audiences. The PV US Hub team is looking for a passionate, analytical, and big thinker to deliver thoughtful, long-term business strategies that grow and deepen engagement with PV US’ multicultural audiences. As the Multicultural Audiences Strategy Lead, you will partner cross-functionally (marketing, social, programming, PR, finance, ad sales, product teams) to ensure Prime Video, as a streaming platform, develops and executes an authentic, consistent, data-driven, and effective approach to attract and engage multicultural audiences. You will build consensus on the strategies you develop, bring those strategies to Prime Video leadership, as applicable, and then be responsible for implementation and tracking the effectiveness of those strategies.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead development of the holistic, longitudinal business strategy to grow and deepen engagement with PV US’ multicultural audiences.
• Partner with finance/analytics teams to build out data infrastructure required for reliable and actionable audience segment level reporting.
• Own program management of US PV’s multicultural audiences go-to-market strategy. This includes developing and securing buy-in for a data-driven audience growth strategy, documenting relevant workstreams across Amazon, and creating and implementing tracking and reporting mechanisms.
• Identify, track and report on audience segment level growth and engagement key performance indicators.
• Leverage internal and external research to share actionable insights with partner teams on how to best serve PV’s multicultural audiences (e.g. cultural nuances to reflect in marketing campaigns or new product features, content/offer type preferences, etc.).
• Partner with Studios, PR, marketing, creative, programming, social and merchandising teams to identify go-to-market synergies and new opportunities (e.g. event sponsorships, talent partnerships) to amplify existing marketing campaigns and/or drive overall audience segment growth.
• Partner with merchandising, product, and international teams on growth experiments across Amazon’s owned & operated (O&O) properties and on relevant new product features (e.g. creative optimization).
