Come join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Core Services team as a Business Development Specialist!
You will own the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and execution for Edge services focused on Enterprise and Digital Native Business (DNB) customers in North America. You will collaborate with Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists teams from across the business to benefit our customers and help them reach their goals. You'll succeed by understanding our customer's most important problems and enable account teams with strategies to solve them. You will lead cross-functional initiatives to expand markets/accounts, develop scalable programs to drive adoption, and identify new opportunities for Amazon Web Services (AWS) security services in your domain. You will develop and execute goals that drive long term growth in your geography, while meeting/exceeding revenue and non-revenue driven Key Performance Indicators. You will bring customer data and market signals back to Worldwide teams to ensure we are prioritizing the building of the right features and services for our customers. You will be delivering monthly/quarterly business reviews and operational planning documents for your respective tech domain and geography. You will scale the business by working with external partners; Partnering with cross functional teams across Solution Architecture, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, and Training and execute customer acquisition programs and strategies.
A day in the life
Within WWSO, this position is part of the NAMER Specialist Team, where you will lead GTM planning and execution for the Enterprise and Digital Native segments. You'll work hand-in-hand with field teams, you'll learn and experiment with our constantly evolving security technologies, and use all of that expertise to build the business. You'll work closely with customers to help them build their adoption plans and ensure that our service teams receive the critical customer signals that will be used to build and grow the service.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience helping customers build their hybrid computing strategy with a specific focus on large, commercial organizations
- Experience building, managing, and measuring GTM programs for cross-functional teams that focus on high-value customer outcomes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience with technology transformation initiatives
- Technical background in engineering or computer science with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms
- Established track record of credibility as a technology advisor with customer executives (e.g. CISO, CEO, COO, CIO, CTO, CMO) and Line of Business Leaders
- Technical background in engineering, computer science, or related degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
