The Protective Services Investigations Group’s Joint Analysis Center is known for its customer obsession, bias for action and ability to dive deep as we process and analyze information concerning incidents occurring globally at Amazon Corporate Sites. To keep our spaces secure and assure operational continuity, we are looking for a detail-oriented security leader to serve as a Regional Triage and Analysis Manager. In this key role, you will lead, train and develop three teams of analysts that serve as the gateway for workplace incidents and investigations. You will serve as the Joint Analysis Center’s initial point of contact for investigative analysis support to regional investigations and threat managers within the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and APAC (Asia Pacific) areas of operation. You must also be able to thrive in a constantly changing environment, work collaboratively on a diverse range of security-related topics, have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, work fast, and work independently to complete tasks and projects when needed on behalf of our customers.

Key job responsibilities
• Own the triage and analysis of initial incident information.
• Own customer contact processes to ensure incident information is documented, and appropriate resources are provided.
• Keep customers aware of decisions and follow-on actions.
• Escalate cases to appropriate PSIG teams when required.
• Manage incidents within a stated response time and ensure actions are documented in a case management system
• Lead analytic support efforts for PSIG.
o Analyze closed circuit TV, access control data, and other sources to support or refute investigative leads.
o Collect, document and preserve evidentiary materials.
o Conduct and assist in interviews.
o Analyze data utilizing software tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat DC, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Bridge, Microsoft Office 365, Quip, and Asana.
• Perform quality control reviews.
• Lead efforts to identify and conduct trend analysis concerning security efficiencies and present results to respective stakeholders.
• Hire, lead, train and develop Triage and Analysts.
• Lead projects to enhance analytic and response capabilities.
• Work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays (i.e. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – 10 hours each day or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday – 10 hours each day).

A day in the life
As a regional analysis manager, you will supervise teams of triage analysts that ensure the safety of Amazonian’s worldwide by providing a 24/7 presence to respond to and process incidents referred to the Protective Services Investigations Group for action. Daily, you will ensure your teams receive initial incident information, contact customers to ensure the accuracy of reported information, conduct analysis based on respective risk analysis and decision matrices, and expeditiously refer appropriate information to respective investigative or threat management teams. You will also lead efforts to ensure timely analytic support is provided to investigative and incident management teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Four+ years working in investigations, intelligence or law enforcement analysis, threat management, law enforcement, incident response, incident management and/or security operations.
• A relevant degree or degree equivalent in a security-related or analytic field.
• Relevant experience leading teams.
• Relevant experience providing investigative analysis support such as interviewing, data mining, and record/system reviews.
• Demonstrated experience of effectively and efficiently managing an analytic or investigative caseload.
• Relevant experience conducting complex data and root cause analysis as well as the ability to generate appropriate mitigations.

• A bachelor’s degree in a security-related or analytic field
• 2+ years of demonstrated leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience of working with and/or assisting other team members on all aspects of Investigations/Security and professional development (team building).
• Relevant experience working with software such as Adobe Suite, Outlook, Windows Suite, open-source databases, case management systems, CCTV, web browsers, remote desktop and others.
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record for developing and maintain relationships with the customers, stakeholders and outside entities.
