The AWS Specialist & Partner (ASP) organization provides a unified, outstanding experience to customers working with thousands of partners worldwide. Within the ASP organization, the Consulting Partner Center Of Excellence (CCOE) works across all consulting partners globally to build the capability and capacity that we need to deliver value to our field and our customers. The CCOE is responsible for setting AWS’s global partner strategy for consulting partners, including Global System Integrators, national and local System Integrators, Distributors, Solution Providers, as well as the Business Consulting & Advisory Partners. The CCOE Operations Team supports our Leaders, Partner Development Managers and our Strategic Initiatives team so they can progress the CCOE vision throughout the organization.

The CCOE Operations team is seeking an experienced, self-directed, detailed oriented Sr. Partner Operations Lead with strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagements, collaboration, and communication skills to support the AWS Partner Organization (APO). This candidate will be responsible for the operational backbone for the CCOE team ranging from pulling and analyzing data from various sources, requirements gathering for systems improvements, tools deployment and training, and project management of small-to-midsized projects.

This is a high business impact role for a candidate who is passionate about taking ownership of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high visibility environment, stepping up to contribute/author well-structured reporting documents using a data-first approach to articulate business impact to our stakeholders, leadership and customers.

You are a strategic thinker and operationally focused. This professional should be able to work with projects not well defined, with cross-functional teams in a productive and professional manner to research, create and deploy solutions that improve productivity. They should look to solve root causes of problems and innovate to develop processes and frameworks that scale with the business. This is a hands-on role; a successful candidate must be willing and eager to “roll up their sleeves”.

Key job responsibilities
- Business Analytics & Insights: Gather insights from the business through analyzing data, identifying trends, and looking around the corner to develop innovative solutions for Partners.
- Rhythm of the Business (ROB): Be a business partner to leadership team, providing insights to help shape the strategy of the business, and strategic guidance in best practices of business operations influencing peers and cross functional teams. Provide such insights in written monthly business reviews.
- Annual Planning: Assist the CCOE Operations Manager to develop key metrics and define performance indicators to measure overall impact and drive continuous improvement of the team. Aid Leaders and Partner Development Managers in forecasting and working with account planning, tools and mechanisms for annual planning and performance management.
- Productivity: Proactively identify and implement operational processes and/or reporting that simplify, standardize and enable operational excellence.
- Project Management: Lead projects that enhance efficiency to the Operations team and to the Partner Development Manager that work directly with our Partners. Research and deploy best tools, practices and efficiencies.
- Insights: Collaborate closely with functional stakeholders and Partner Intelligence team to ascertain business asks/needs, and to drive standardization, prioritization and automation of metrics, data, reporting, and dashboards.

A day in the life
Day-to-day activities will include data analytics to help other CCOE Ops team members gain insights to the business. Every month, data will be pulled and analysis conducted (such as forecasting, data inconsistencies and finding opportunities). Analysis and insights will be used in the monthly business review. This person will also be engaged in several projects ranging from gathering business requirements for systems and tools, as well as organizing information and creating/updating communications systems (e.g. Wiki's, SharePoint, Email) to the CCOE team.

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of data and analytical skills (SQL, mid-to-advanced level using MS Excel) analyzing business results, forecasting and target setting.
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
- 3+ years of experience sales, planning/strategy, and/or sales operations defining, refining and implementing sales and operational processes, procedures and policies.
- 2+ years experience with communications systems, such as Wiki or SharePoint.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company.
- AI/ML usage and experience for analyzing data (e.g. Chat GPT, Amazon Bedrock). Understand how to prompt AI and upload data in order to compile and gain results from multiple documents and data sources.
- Experience in preparing and presenting data-driven documents, communicating complex concepts, and translating the results into actionable insights, deliverables, and outcomes
- 3+ years’ experience using CRM and business intelligence tools (e.g. Salesforce, Anaplan, QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Domo); ability to write and debug SQL queries.
- 5+ years of business management, sales, data engineering, business intelligence and/or sales operations experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
