Engagement Product Manager, Rufus, Rufus
DESCRIPTION
The Rufus team is seeking a Product Manager who is passionate about technology, innovation, and engaging new and existing customers. This role is inherently high-visibility and highly cross-functional, requiring collaboration and influence across category teams, PR, product, design, science, and engineering.
This person will be charged with engaging and delighting customers, inventing engagement levers to support earned and owned media opportunities. You will build new features, or use existing features in an innovative way, to engage customers with education and marketing messages within the Rufus experience. The successful candidate will be a creative product manager, who has a knack for marketing and a passion for finding new ways to engage customers.
The successful candidate will thrive in ambiguity, bringing process and discipline to a highly dynamic and fluid environment. They will excel at managing and influencing broad stakeholder groups, always with a focus on how best to engage users. This role will require excellent written and oral communication skills, data-driven analyses and insights, exceptional judgment, strong interpersonal skills, deep curiosity about how things work, and a passion for serving customers. You must enjoy context-switching and partnering at all levels of the organization to deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
* Establish the product vision for engagement levers and features that will engage, educate, and inspire customers within the Rufus experience
* Identify, assess, and prioritize customer engagement opportunities, aligning cross-functional partners across marketing, product, design, engineering, and science
* Drive development of new customer experiences that support event-specific shopping missions
* Manage the engagement roadmap, making trade-offs and prioritizing high-impact features

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience developing and launching products in the marketing, advertising, or branding space.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
