Key job responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer in Test II (SDET II) at Amazon, you will lead the design and development of robust testing frameworks and tools, collaborating closely with a team of engineers and product managers. To succeed in this role, you must uphold high standards for code quality, comprehensive test coverage, and operational excellence. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
- 4+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment
- Experience with security in service-oriented architectures and web services

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
