The Ops Integration team is seeking an experienced Tax Transformation Program Manager to lead multiple projects with the goal of aligning Ops processes with the requirements of the Brazilian Tax Reform.
You will own a portfolio of tax transformation projects and will be accountable to their end-to-end development: from scoping, to execution, through successful implementation and adoption.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to work across disciplines, organizations, and geographies, translating complex technical and operational requirements for varied audiences. You must think big, move fast, and pivot frequently in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in logistics and transportation is a plus, but hands-on experience in operations and transportation is a must.
Key job responsibilities
Manage complex tax transformation projects from conception to implementation and be accountable for key metrics and overall results;
Analyze the proposed changes in the Tax Reform in detail and assess the impacts on Ops processes;
Develop a comprehensive implementation plan, encompassing changes to processes, systems, and organizational structure;
Lead a cross-functional team (finance, IT, operations, etc.) in executing the transition plan;
Maintain constant communication with leadership and impacted areas to ensure engagement and alignment.
A day in the life
You will:
Work with teams across Amazon to scope requirements, including AMZL, Tax, Legal, Accounting, Finance, Tech, etc.;
Manage project deliverables, including day-to-day communication with key stakeholders;
Ensure project implementation and adoption.
About the team
Ops Integration team is responsible for understanding business and operations requirements to develop and align programs with Tech, Consumer and other important business stakeholders, with main focus on Supply Chain programs, Transportation programs and Network and Operational Excellence programs and solutions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree;
- Tax experience;
- Program or project management experience;
- Program strategy experience, end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership;
- Fluent in English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree or MBA;
- Excel Advanced.
