The Finance Operations organization works with every part of Amazon to provide operations accounting and operations excellence services with the highest level of controller-ship at the lowest cost to the company. We provide the backbone systems and operational processes which completely, accurately, and validly pay Amazon’s suppliers, invoice our customers and report financial results. Amazon is quickly building the Finance Operations capabilities in the healthcare industry by creating the Healthcare Finance Operations Services.

As we continue to grow and scale our ability to provide innovative primary care across the country, the teams that support this critical work are growing as well. Amazon HealthCare is seeking to hire a Business Analyst for the Revenue Cycle team. As a member of the Revenue Cycle team, you will be focused on analyzing revenue cycle data into meaningful pieces of information and streamlining data systems within the revenue cycle. You will have the opportunity to work on some of the world's largest data sets, influence the long-term evolution of our data analytics capability and help build data driven operational strategies to adapt and be successful in ever changing business environments. Key job responsibilities
● Partner closely with Business stakeholders in understanding business problems, converting the same into data problems and work to building, operationalize and maintain reporting/analytics solutions/dashboards for various metrics across different processes/businesses/functions of HealthCare Revenue Cycle.
● Develop accurate dashboards to track operational metrics including KPIs, North Star Goals, process, marker, team specific goals and key performance indicators.
● Support the Global FinOps teams on business reporting, ad hoc analysis, statistical inference and predictive modelling.
● Perform analysis of financial performance of the revenue cycle function to identify areas of opportunity.
● Responsible for various standard, recurring reporting functions to support revenue cycle operational business needs.
● Assists revenue cycle leaders in working closely with organizational stakeholders to improve financial performance based on analytic findings.
● Completes regular root cause analysis of financial transactions.
● Monitor key performance indicators for internal and external parties.
● Prepares summary findings of analysis for department leadership review.
● Cultivates internal relationships to assist in understanding department workflows.
● Engage regularly with finance department leaders on improvement opportunities identified through data analysis.
● Provides analytics for and supports special projects as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Statistics or related discipline from Premium institutes.
● 2+ years' experience in Data Analytics / Business Analytics / Business Intelligence teams developing reporting and sound analytics-based solutions to business problems.
● Knowledge of healthcare billing (ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT) and medical terminology required.
● Proven ability in developing reports over Tableau, Quicksight.
● Excellent skills in data querying or modeling technique with SQL.
● Experience focused on gathering information and analyzing data to produce reports and ad hoc requests.
● Ability to constantly learn and implement scalable and automated solutions to drive efficiencies for our business stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

● Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Statistics, Business or related discipline from Premium institutes.
● 3+ years’ experience Process Improvement-related initiatives.
● Added advantage if the candidate comes with exposure to other automation tools like Alteryx.
