Principal Product Manager, Fashion, Fitness and Creators
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Product Manager to help design, build, and develop big impact features that improve the customer experience for Promotions and buzzworthy product amplification. This PM will be responsible for setting our 3YP, OP1/OP2, and event-specific strategies for deals and how we think about buzzworthy products, virality, and the strategic importance of surfacing great products to customers during peak traffic periods.
This leader will solve complex problems in one of the fastest growing segments of the Retail business, Fashion and Fitness (Clothing, Shoes, Jewelry, Watches, Accessories, Sports and Outdoors). A successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires an individual who strives to answer business/operational questions and who works across functional boundaries.
To succeed in this role you should be a general athlete who is passionate about working with large datasets and who loves to bring data together to re-imagine how teams approach highly visible problems. You should have deep expertise in the creation and management of datasets and the proven ability to translate the data into meaningful insights. You should be comfortable using the data in financial modeling. In this role, you will have ownership of end-to-end development of strategy, building technical infrastructure with F2 Data Engineering and Tech teams, as well as reporting progress to senior leadership stakeholders across Stores teams.
Key job responsibilities
-Define the strategy for deal sourcing and operational execution for Fashion and Fitness' High Velocity Events (e.g., Prime Day)
-Work across multiple tech stacks and teams to influence change where existing policies and logic are having unintended, negative impact on our categories
-Develop new approaches and ways of thinking to make deal events more efficient
-Work with Data Engineering teams to build tech-enabled solutions and tools to common executional pain points
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 8+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience with product cycles of 6+ months

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
