HR Specialist, Work Authorization

DESCRIPTION

This position supports Amazon's Work Authorization service, providing daily subject matter expertise, customer support and process improvements in the United Kingdom for the Corporate and Operations lines of business. The role is responsible for ensuring compliant in person right to work checks are completed, operating against and improving standard operating procedures and meeting relevant customer metrics. These include but are not limited to project intake resolution and customer query SLAs, continuous new hire compliance defect reduction and an improved employee experience.

Key job responsibilities
• Act as a subject matter for candidates, employees and business partners in the United Kingdom, complete compliant in person right to work checks and respond to customer queries within SLA.
• Create and improve standard operating procedures.
• Manage new work customer intakes from various business stakeholders.
• Operate and improve standard operating procedures to deliver new hire compliance defect reduction.
• Operate and improve standard procedures to deliver an improved employee experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Human resources experience
- Experience with HR processes and systems
- Bachelor's Degree
- very good command in both spoken and written English (CEFR B2)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with process improvement and stakeholder management
- Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards
