Do you want to be a key part of a team focused on driving strategic initiatives to increase the reach of cloud computing across stakeholders? Do you have the strategy/business planning experience, technical acumen, and communication skills as well as related career needed to help further establish AWS as the leader in the segment? AWS is looking for a leader who has experiences of business model development and partnership cultivation, and is passionate and capable of driving those strategic initiatives across the TMEGS(Telco, Media & Entertainment, Gaming and Sports) segment for AWS, leveraging the richness of the AWS cloud computing platform and width of business area in terms of Amazon including AWS, to position AWS as business partner as well as technology partner to build multi-dimensional strategic partnership with key customers. Your responsibilities will include identification of customer mission/goal, matching the Amazon/AWS capability in terms of business/technology/culture to help the customer to achieve the goal, building strategic agendas orchestrating key customers/strategic partners and key internal stakeholders, leading the process to conclude the strategic initiatives and follow up actions, to create significant new business opportunities for AWS. You will enable the AWS sales teams selling to accounts in TMEGS sector based on your strategic initiatives you drive working with various internal teams such as SA(Solutions Architect) team, Partner team, SBD(Strategic Business Development) team, AWSi(AWS industry) team. The ideal candidate will have a strategy planning or management consulting background working with customers in related industries at the CxO/VP level, with a good understanding of business trend and emerging technologies in the segment. He/she should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technology challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, strategic thinking, insight in the segment and technology acumen is a must.

Key job responsibilities
• Identify large-impact opportunity for customers/partners as well as for AWS, design strategic agendas and formulate business model and action plan to realize the opportunity.
• Evaluate/prioritize the strategic initiatives/action plans and lead/orchestrate the key decision makers from customers/partners and from AWS/Amazon across the business unit/function/geography to accelerate the execution of those initiatives.
• Create TMEGS specific content including digital transformation trend, AWS customer cases, AWS offering and share them to private/public event to enlighten the customers.
• Lead the field enablement to help internal stakeholders to be equipped with Strategic Initiatives and Mechanisms the candidate will drive.

About the team
Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Total +15 years of career including 8+ years of strategy/business planning or management consulting experience with Bachelor's Degree in related field
- The right person will be capable of catching up the business trend and IT environments of TMEGS segment
- Strong verbal and written communications skills including fluent English speaking as well as Korean are a must.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations, including strategic partners.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Prior experience working in TMEGS segment is highly desired, either as a customer or as a service provider/vendor.
- Experience on due diligence or the digital transformation project.
- MBA, Computer Science, and/or Engineering Degree.
- Experience in public cloud / software development / data center / infrastructure / networking technologies with ability to understand current and future customer needs and present AWS technical benefits.
