Are you passionate about being at the forefront of inventing security, compliance and access management solutions? AFT-Identity team is dedicated to develop solutions that ensure the millions of transactions that take place each day between humans, devices and services are secure. As a Technical Program Manager in this team, you will be at the forefront of solving technical challenges involving Authentication, Authorization, User and Permissions Lifecycle Management and Compliance, for both 1P and 3P associates. You will lead the development of solutions and frameworks used in Amazon's global fulfillment operations. You will develop solutions that provide standard, easy-to-use tooling and frameworks for automation, security, reliability, and compliance. AFT-Identity vended security libraries are currently utilized by 200+ tools spread across multiple orgs. As part of this role, you will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, partner with other development teams, engage with senior management, defining and driving the vision. The right candidate will possess a strong tech background, and have demonstrated experience leading projects. You must thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. The ability to take large, complex projects, break them down into manageable pieces, develop tech design/ specifications, and deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected. Maturity, high judgment, ability to influence, employ scalable mechanisms, and leadership are essential to success in this role.
Key job responsibilities
• Participate in the design, implementation, and deployment of software services that address IAM, Security and Compliance needs unique to AFT Fulfillment space.
• Collaborate with team members, SDMs, Principal Engineers, Program Managers and Operations leaders to envision and develop solutions that delight our end-users.
• Deliver high-quality software for the devices, services and other infrastructure components to ensure their security and compliance with industry standards.
• Engage with developer community advocating and helping with the adoption of IAM solutions that raise the security bar while sharing your knowledge of the most effective performance, scalability, architecture, and engineering patterns and methods.
• Mentor team members, fostering their growth and development, while doing your part to maintain a culture of continuous learning within the software community.
• Maintain good documentation and be ready to disseminate it in a timely way to make it easier to track progress and identify any issues quickly.

Workforce Optimization
AFT’s Workforce Optimization team delivers innovative platforms and products to automate labor management and staffing decisions across processes and functions at Amazon’s global fulfillment network locations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
