We are looking for a well organized and self-motivated Executive Assistant (EA) to become part of our International Stores EA Team supporting two Directors in Amazon Payments Finance in Seattle. We are seeking a driven, bright, and motivated individual with a history of high performance to support our organization. This exciting role requires attention to detail, great organization and prioritization skills, the ability to plan ahead and to meet tight deadlines, all while juggling multiple critical requests.

A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with leaders (at and outside Amazon) is important, as is the ability to be flexible and change direction seamlessly. You will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and want to take on varied and exciting new projects and learn new skills. You’ll need to take effective action without having to know the total picture, and efficiently and proactively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the department or other related groups.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include the ability to think and plan ahead, action on responsibilities appropriately, and manage time effectively.
Other key responsibilities include:

• Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars.
• Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements
• Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure action required is addressed in a timely manner.
• Tracking and help drive completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items
• Acting as a liaison for direct reports
• Driving key team activities (such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, and team off-sites)
• Updating team organizational charts
• Managing group logistics
• Schedule cost effective air/hotel/ground transportation. Create detailed travel itineraries both domestic and international (including smooth transitions between time zones). Coordinate with in-house travel agents and manage international travel process.
• Submit expense reports in a timely fashion.
• Coordinate closely with Recruiting teams, Facilities team, HR team, and other Executive Assistants within the Amazon community.
• Participate in planning of events

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of senior level leadership support experience
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience with end-to-end project management
- Experience managing multiple calendars

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
